I think the Sieg KX3 CNC Mill is available from Novakon. Novakon is the Canadian distributor for Smithy CNC. Their benchtop machine is the SMithy 622 (which is a KX3 varient), although it looks like they are not selling the smithy control and software system and are instead offerring Mach3 and BobCAD to their customers.

Biggest limitation on the KX3 for what you require is the Y axis travel is 150mm. The X3 converted to CNC is 190mm in the Y axis. This is a stainless steel loco wheel 85mm diameter, 10mm thick cut with a 4mm carbide cutter. Batch of 12mm square lathe tools in high tensile steel.

In this case, the base machine is the X3 mill. From the X3 platform Sieg later introduced the more versatile and advanced Super X3, and now the CNC KX3 mill. But while the cast iron base, table and column are shared with the X3, the similarity pretty much ends there, as the KX3 is otherwise an entirely new and different machine.

I purchased a OTMT or Sieg KX3 from Traver's tool. Machine is great; however, their control software is dismal. I have used MACH3 for a year and have gotten fairly proficient. This proprietary Sieg "Fanuc" software baffles me and has nowhere near the capability of MACH3 that from what I've seen. Does anyone know anything about this software?

The SX4 is definitely an upgrade from any of the other Sieg mills, is it much more rigid and starts to cross the boundary from mini mill to decent size bench mill yes spindle speed is not ideal but that can be fixed to a limit. Axminster may have a few more of their SX4's without DROs.
